I have been reading more Shin Chan. This is a really good hairdresser! I hope I get such good service when I go and get my hair cut (which should be soon o:)

Yep, that's right, the tofu and condom are labelled incorrectly. I know that it is Shin Chan after all, but kids really shouldn't be able to fetch condoms easily... ah well. Hmmm, I wonder what a tofu condom would be like xD

One should not lurk internet forums for fear of great feelings of nostalgia pouncing upon one unexpectedly. Why oh why did someone have to mention damn Beyblades?! Why?!

I miss Galeon... I wanted Dranzer or Dragoon originally, but who wouldn't fall in love with a big black Chinese lightning lion? Galeon you were so good to me - I won many battles with you, but ended up breaking your lower part of the attack ring... luckily I had a spare part - in red. Damn red. Not fitting at all with you're glossy black with vibrant yellow and fuchsia stickers, bearing the name, your name, 'Galeon', with all it's might and power and oh my~!

I really liked that Beyblade. I need to find another one. In the mean time I'll draw my mighty lion, in all his glory.

House Festival

It's been a good while since I have posted. Over a month!

Anyway, it is House Festival tomorrow! And as a humble sixth former I have the privilege to dress up as something fitting the theme of the Festival - Disney.

Since I am obviously chivalrous, handsome, masculine, and charming, I will dress up as the noble Prince Philip of Sleeping Beauty.

I visisted 'misarisalisa's' house yesterday and she made me watch Sergeant Frog... not really my thing, BUT within the series there was an amazing character that I have now fallen in love with!

Identification

I was reading the 'Strawberry Marshmallow' manga when I came across these two panels. Here, Matsuri-chan, shown in the 2nd panel (the one to the left) with the black-tipped hair, is searching for Nobue-onee-chan without her glasses on. She is pretty blind, so walks into her and ends up groping her as her arms are outstretched. As one can see she is startled after doing so and Nobue asks how she couldn't tell that it was her without groping her.

This lead me to think whether or not I could identify my friends by grabbing at their chest area xD. This is likely for me, as I really do seem to have very little understanding of personal space, and I'm sure my friends are very aware of this. Now, all I need is some willing (or not so willing) volunteers (namely my friends) to test this hypothesis.... ehehe xD

Elephant Pants

If anyone comes across a pair of these 'elephant pants' can you please buy me some? Please? xD Aren't they brilliant!? Oh, but I only want some for the sake of having them xD don't you be getting any ideas!

I came across this picture when reading the manga 'Bra Girl,' which was recommended to me by a friend. It was interesting to say the least.

Being of the ecchi genre, there were some panty-shots within this manga - and not just of elephant pants - but Lucia isn't in this manga! I wanted to see Lucia's underwear! *sighs* I'm still disappointed about the perfect panty-shot opportunity not being used in VVV...

Pokémon Black & Pokémon White

I discovered earlier this year, that within autumn, new games Pokémon Black and Pokémon White would be released within Japan. Having been overly pleased with the recent release of Nintendo's remake of Pokémon Silver & Gold - Soul Silver & Heart Gold - I was very excited at the idea of a new game. However, I then remembered Pokémon Diamond & Pearl. These two games were utter let downs for myself and my sister, so it is likely that a 5th generation of Pokémon will be equally as terrible. Here is my overview of my current 'research'.

Today I decided to check if any of the upcoming Pokémon had been revealed. I had previously seen the new Pokémon, Zorua and Zoruark, and was pleasantly surprised with them, but upon seeing the newly revealed starter and legendary Pokémon I was thoroughly disappointed. I never have really took a shine to any of the starter Pokémon so I wasn't expecting to be overly pleased, but come on! Grass starter - snake Pokémon - with arms and legs? What kind of snake has arms and legs?! Fire starter - pig Pokémon - has long ears. Not too bad, but still not meeting expectations. Water starter - otter Pokémon - big nose, frown, and freckles. I don't have anything against big noses or freckles - frowns I do dislike however - but when ones freckles are level with ones mouth and ones nose is level with ones eyes it does look a tad silly; also, I am pretty sure otters do not have perfectly round heads. The three starter Pokémon can be seen below.

The legendary Pokémon of Pokémon White is a large, black, Dragon-Robot-Demon-type-thingy (see top-left of this post). It's quite cool looking actually, but it does not look like a typical Pokémon, much like Arceus, Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina did not from Pokémon Diamond, Pearl & Platinum. There is far too much detail, making it look like it was taken from Digimon, or some other anime, rather than Pokémon.

Mmm, I can smell my dinner.... *is hungry*

The Legendary for Pokémon Black is white (see right), I guess this is so that the Pokémon can actually be located on the box xD Unlike the legendary for Pokémon White, it looks AWFUL. It looks like a glorified feather duster! Terrible! I was horrified when I laid my eyes upon it! And what is that between it's legs? Oh dear...

Okay, sorry, anyone reading this blog probably thinks I'm really negative! I'm not, I'm really not. I'm still looking forwards to the release, which I believe, for Europe, will be within Spring next year; I expect I shall request Pokémon White for my birthday. I just thought it was noteworthy of how much the Pokémon franchise has really overstretched itself, and quality is dropping as a result.

New Music

So I decided to discover some new music.

Anyone who knows me (which I expect is everyone who reads this blog xD) will know that I have a horrifically narrow taste when it comes to music. Well, I still do. But I have discovered a few more bands that I ACTUALLY like ;D

I managed to find a total of three new bands that I like (this is an achievement, okay!), Legenda Aurea, Magica, and Psyclon Nine.

Legenda Aurea is a female fronted symphonic/operatic metal band. Yep, soprano singer, and a mighty good one ;P but of course it would be for me to like them, ahaha. Magica are a Romanian symphonic metal band, again female fronted. Magica have 'beauty and the beast' vocals in many of their songs, where a gruff male voice accompanies the lovely female vocals. Psyclon Nine mix black metal with industrial and gothic metal styles, giving them a very dark sound.

Decency Versus Panty-shot

I was reading Venus Versus Virus when I came across this page here. It is taken from vol.1 ch.5.

I was incredibly disappointed to discover that a perfect opportunity for a panty-shot had not been used! This is manga! Manga! It's supposed to be perverse! *temporarily dislikes the manga-ka*

I really would have liked to have seen Lucia's underwear... I mean come on, it was a 16+ manga - isn't it our given right to have panty-shots in manga rated older-teen?! Or are we not mature enough to handle underpants?

I guess we can see her wonderful garter... with it's blade equipped. BUT STILL.

Venus Versus Virus is wonderful however, and I guess it is not Ecchi, so panty-shots are not to be expected. It IS also yurilicious... so I'll quit my complaining.

Yay for Manga. Yay for Yuri. Yay for Venus Versus Virus. But MORE Panty-shots. Please. xD

When santa Mr. (or Mrs.) Pigeon Got Stuck Up The Chimney...

Oh dear, oh deary deary me... Some time yesterday or the day before a poor pigeon fell down into our chimney...

It was strange when I noticed Percy (my cat) sniffing around the chimney... I was hoping that his interest only occurred as my sister's bag was in front of it and he could easily poke his nose in the opening just above it which leads to the chimney. This however was not the case. He could smell the pigeon.

I discovered this when I heard the sound of flapping whilst I was upon my laptop. It caused Percy to jump back from the fireplace. Upon the floor was a grey feather, immediately I knew it was the feather of a poor wood pigeon. My second favourite animal, after goats of course.

We had to get the pigeon out. As: 1. I did not wish for it to die. and 2. If it did die we would get a fly infestation.

When father returned home he prised open the fireplace, opening it like a doorway, not too far however, as he did not wish to damage the gas pipes and cause an explosion.

It was not until the next day, today that is, that we got the pigeon out. Father had to grab it from further up the chimney with use of his motorcycle glove. When the poor soul had been rescued from it's ash-covered prison it could not see. The ash had temporarily blinded it. Luckily managed to restore it's vision after cleaning it and it's eyes and leaving it to recover.

Mr/Mrs. Pigeon has flown away now. Hopefully to live the rest of his/her life happily ^^
